This year the South Midland Centre Youth Motocross Championship will be jointly hosted by Peterborough Junior MotoX Club and Kensworth Schoolboy Motocross Club with each club running two rounds at two of their clubs meetings.
Round 1 – 23rd June Chippenham CB8 7QJ Round 2 – 7th July Chatteris PE16 6TA Round 3 – 8th September Chatteris PE16 6TA Round 4 – 15th September Arncott OX25 1PL The presentation of the awards will take place at the final round at Arncott where the top 6 riders in each class will be awarded a trophy, the winner in each class being crowned South Midland Centre Youth Motocross Champion for 2013 .The following categories are to be contested:
Autos Junior 65 Small Wheel 85’s Big Wheel 85’s Youth 125’s Rules & eligibility
The contest is open to all riders who are members of an ACU affiliated club within the South Midland Centre who also hold a current full ACU license.
All four meetings count towards the championship with a qualification requirement that at least 3 rounds are contested, the riders best 3 rounds will be used to calculate final positions. The points scored in each of the 3 races at each meeting will be totalled up to decide the points gained for that meeting.
Points structure to be 1st place 45, 2nd 42, 3rd 40, 4th 38, 5th 37, 6th 36…………………………..40th 2 points.
Riders from either club will pay the normal club entry fee with no additional non-member charges.
Transponders will be used only at the Kensworth meetings; there will be no charge for transponder hire at these two meetings for the youth groups.
You will be required to supply a marshal for ½ day at the Peterborough rounds (this is the clubs normal rule).
