Tough Ten Trial.
An addition to the published South Midland Centre Fixture List for this year is being arranged for Saturday, the 13th November. It is a combined event between the Berkhamsted, HUX and K&K clubs and it will be open to any affiliated ACU rider. It will be held, by kind permission of the Haslam family, at Round Rocket Plantation, West Hyde Lane, Chalfont St. Peter, SL9 0QP.

It is called the Tough Ten, and it will be just that, ten demanding sections set out to test the best riders in each of the classes, to be ridden four times. Section severity will be on a par with that found in areas such as Derbyshire and Yorkshire, with the aim of presenting, particularly to our youth riders, what is found when they enter National trials, whilst giving Experts, Inters and Novices a tough, demanding trial, so will not be suitable for beginners or less capable ‘social’ riders.

Classes and routes will be:-
White route.....................Youth ‘A’ and Experts
Red route........................Youth ‘B’ and Novices
50/50 White/Red route.....Intermediates
Blue route.......................Youth ‘C’

It will be necessary to enter the class for which you are qualified.
Due to the possibility of wet weather in November when the entrance to the site could be difficult, the entry is to be limited to 50 riders, will be all pre-entry with no entries on the day. Entry details are in this edition of TSM.

Clerk of Course is to be Graham Haslam assisted by brother Ray. Sec. of Meeting is Terry Golds, who can be reached on 01582 455714, with Ted North acting as co-ordinator between the three clubs. Any offers to observe or assist to Ted on 07976 043027.
