Triumph Motorcycles has signalled its intent to support youth trials in a special event for OSET and Triumph TXP owners on Saturday 18 April 2026.
A TXP Cup, aimed at youth electric trials riders on any OSET model or Triumph TXP, will be hosted by Earl Shilton near Hinckley, Leicestershire. To make the day extra special all guests are invited to join the team for a hosted event at the Triumph Factory for a unique behind the scenes experience.
The event offers young riders from the age of four, the opportunity to test their skills in a supportive and professionally organised environment. Open to both OSET and Triumph TXP machines, the event is designed to encourage participation, progression, and enjoyment, whether riders are brand new to competition or already developing their skills.
Simon Armstrong, events and promotions manager, said: “As we move forward in the new era of OSET and Triumph TXP I am really looking forward to seeing youth trials develop as a route into all form of two-wheeled fun. Trials riding teaches, skill, balance, control and technique at slow speed that provide the foundation for every other two-wheeled activity. And, because our bikes are electric, kids can practice what they learn at events in their own back garden.”
Following the TXP Cup action, riders and their families are invited to attend an exclusive visit to the Triumph Factory – the home of Triumph Motorcycles. The ‘Factory Visitor Experience’ is intended to give families a closer look at the engineering heritage and innovation that sits behind the Triumph name.
Ian Smith, Founder of OSET said: “The Factory Visitor Experience features bikes from Triumphs entire history, from the first ever Triumph, through Steve McQueen’s ‘Great Escape’ bike, to Daniel Craig’s ‘No Time to Die’ Scrambler. It should be a great day!”
To ensure a welcoming and family-friendly day, refreshments and snacks will be available for both kids and parents, allowing everyone to relax, refuel, and enjoy the occasion together.
This combined event reflects Triumph’s ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots riding, developing future talent, and creating memorable experiences for riders and their families.
Spaces are limited and early registration is advised. You can register here
