HEMINGWAY BROTHERS REALISE CHILDHOOD DREAM
Despite each already having two World titles to their names, Leeds born brothers George and Harry Hemingway realised another childhood dream when they took part in a Red Bull activation outside the East stand at Elland Road ahead of last night’s premiership clash as Leeds United took on Chelsea under the lights.

Both seventeen-year-old George – who has twice won the Trial3 World Championship – and his nineteen year old brother Harry – who added the 2025 Trial2 gold medal to his previous Trial3 World crown – are both lifetime LUFC fans and could not wait to pull on the famous white shirt to perform in front of the Leeds fans before kick-off.

The brothers will be back in action again in Leeds to kick off their 2026 season – with the first Indoor World competition of the year taking place at the First Direct Bank Arena on Saturday 24 January. The event will see the World series return to Britain for the first time in a decade, and both Hemingway brothers are excited to be getting their new campaigns underway on home turf.

“I’m feeling really good about X-Trial Leeds and while I’m obviously a bit nervous I know it’s such a great opportunity for me,” says George. “It will be my first-ever appearance in the FIM X-Trial World Championship so it’s incredible to be making my debut in my home city in front of my home fans.”

Harry is equally excited about competing on his own doorstep. “When all your friends and family come out to support you, you really want to put on a show for them and it couldn’t get any more local – it’s literally fifteen minutes from my house,” he says. “I grew up in Leeds and I drive past the arena all the time so to be competing there is unreal. We used to joke about it when we drove past – “imagine if there was a Trial in there one day” – but we never thought it would happen.”

Remaining tickets for X-Trial Leeds on Saturday 24 January 2026 are selling fast. For more details and to make sure you do not miss out go to www.xtrial-leeds.comm
