Team GB Reflect on a Challenging but Rewarding Event

Team Manager Karl Robinson has praised the spirit and determination of Team GB following what he described as a “tough but very enjoyable” event.

Robinson highlighted the excellent teamwork across the squad, noting that while the final results did not fully reflect the effort on display, the commitment from everyone involved was exceptional.

“The lads gave it everything in very testing conditions – 11 out of 10 for effort,” said Robinson. “We value the opportunity to take part in this event each year and are always grateful for the fantastic support we receive.”

Unfortunately, Murray Graham was forced to retire during the second race after sustaining an injury while in a strong position. He has since returned home, been assessed by a specialist, and is recovering well. Thankfully, the injury is not serious and is receiving the right care.

Dafydd Davies described the track as brutal, tough on the mind, body and machine, which didn’t bring the results we were after, but certainly Carl Bunce, Murray and myself gave it our all.

Team GB achieved a commendable 10th overall in this year’s competition. The presence of Harry Walker, 2025 EMX Quad Cross Champion, who attended to show his support on race day, was welcomed by the team and added to the strong sense of camaraderie throughout the weekend.

Robinson concluded:

“It was fantastic to see so many friendly faces around the circuit and in the pits. Team GB supporters are truly some of the best out there. This event once again showed the spirit and unity of our team, and we look forward to building on this experience.”
