Team GB continued to build momentum on Day 2 of the 2025 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in Seriate, Bergamo, with improved results across all three Trophy Teams. Riders tackled the same loop of three special tests – two cross and one enduro – repeated twice. With better starting positions than on Day 1, the team benefitted from cleaner lines and more familiar ground, helping them rise through the ranks.
The Men’s World Trophy Team delivered a strong day collectively. Jack Edmondson produced the standout performance of the day, climbing from 42nd overall yesterday to an impressive 23rd today, finishing 7th in E1 and 18th in the Trophy standings. Dan Mundell also pushed hard with fast, consistent test times to secure 27th Trophy and 34th overall. Alex Walton and Harry Edmondson closed the gap significantly, finishing 16th and 17th in E1 respectively, with all four riders now much closer together on the timesheets. Their combined effort lifted the team to 7th place in the Men’s Trophy standings and left them in high spirits ahead of fresh tests tomorrow.
The Junior World Trophy Team continued their solid, consistent start. Sam Davies finished 22nd Junior and 62nd overall, with Sam Hughes and Callum Hughes close behind in 25th and 26th respectively. The trio’s evenly matched pace means they are riding closely together on the tests and checks, which is proving a huge boost for morale. The juniors ended Day 2 in 8th overall and are optimistic about tackling the new tests ahead.
In the Women’s World Trophy Team, improved conditions brought improved results. Katie Walker rode strongly to 14th overall, while Nieve Holmes recovered from a crash in Test 3 to still finish 8th overall, demonstrating her trademark resilience. Elizabeth Tett delivered another solid day in 19th. The women sit 5th overall in the team standings and are determined to keep pushing higher in the days to come.
Day 3 will see the riders face a brand-new loop with five fresh special tests, including three cross and two enduro. Starting and ending on the same cross test, the varied mix of grass fields, stubble tests, and forest enduro sections should play to Team GB’s strengths. With spirits high and momentum building, the team is eager to continue climbing the leaderboard.
