Natural Resources Wales Grants Access for 2025 Forsiteservices EnduroGP of Wales

Forsiteservices EnduroGP of Wales is delighted to announce that Natural Resources Wales (NRW) has granted access to use its land for this year’s event, marking a huge success for the sport and the Welsh economy.

Following extensive storm damage to forestry earlier this year, all motorsport activity on NRW land had been suspended until the end of July due to the scale of work required to clear fallen trees and ensure forest safety. With limited resources and staffing, motorsport was deemed unfeasible. This led to major event cancellations, including the British Enduro Championship round at Brechfa, and prevented the Welsh 2 Day Enduro from using NRW terrain.

However, thanks to a determined and collaborative effort led by Event Director Adam Rees, working closely with the FIM, local government representatives, and stakeholders from across the enduro community, NRW has granted the EnduroGP of Wales permission to use key areas of Abbeycwmhir and Red Lion forestry for its 2025 event, running 1-3 August in Rhayader, Mid Wales.

The access approval is not only a major boost for the event but for the wider Welsh economy, with the Forsiteservices EnduroGP of Wales expected to deliver significant economic benefits to Mid Wales and beyond through tourism, hospitality, and local spending.

With a stacked entry of the world’s best riders, the return of the Women’s Enduro World Championship, and now access to some of Wales’ most iconic forestry terrain, the 2025 Forsiteservices EnduroGP of Wales is shaping up to be one of the most memorable weekends in British offroad motorsport this year.
