Mecca-X Championship Travels to Iden for Round 3
Following two rounds of super-competitive racing at FatCat Moto Park and Sellindge MX, the third round of the 2025 Mecca-X Championship heads to the scenic Iden MX track in Rye, East Sussex.

Taking place over the Whitsun bank holiday weekend of the 24th and 25th of May, the Iden MX hillside stage is set for another Mecca-X humdinger as fast-charging class leaders take to the Sussex track.

The ‘win a 2026 ride’ competition is gathering momentum where, in association with the 2-Stroke Festival, the top points scorers on 65cc and 85cc machines will each receive a KTM machine to race in the same class in 2026. Meanwhile, a selected rider in the adult and MXY2 classes will be loaned a DIRTSTORE 250 or 450 machine for 2026. The lucky winners will be notified after the last set of races take place at the 2-Stoke Festival at Sellindge MX in August.

Mecca-X, the hub of X-Bladez Events, provides trophies to all classes which include Junior 65, SW/BW 85, 125 Youth, 250 Youth, Clubman and Vets 35+.

As in rounds one and two, the Saturday of the Mecca-X Championship weekend will be opened up as a practice day. Riders who sign up for the practice day by the Thursday prior to the race weekend – in this instance, Thursday the 22nd of May - will be entered into a draw to win a free practice day.

Eight winners across all riding groups will have the chance to take advantage of a full day’s riding free-of-charge, thanks to Mecca-X.

X-Bladez boss Dave Willet, the promoter of the Mecca-X series, the established Red Bull Pro Stroke National, and the Apico Two-Stroke Festival, said; “We’re really pumped to be going ‘across the border’ into East Sussex for the third round of our new-for-2025 Mecca-X Club Championship. Iden is in a great setting with a stunning landscape and a hillside track that will test the mettle of our riders.

“We’re so grateful to the riders who have invested in the club by taking out a membership and contesting the first two rounds. The guys who travelled to FatCat for the opening round really showed commitment and their support is invaluable.

“X-Bladez is a club that believes in rewarding its members with value-added benefits, but we also look after those riders who aren’t ready to sign up just yet and just want to contest the odd round here and there. That is why we think it is important to award trophies on the day to each class. The pre-raceday practice day is also proving popular and we find that many who sign up just to practice, decide to stay on and race the following day. We are a new club, but we’re a new club that’s going places!”
