Robin and Sam Luscombe continued their sidecar success story on Saturday and Sunday in the West Country where they won the third and fourth events in the Luscombe Suzuki Leeds British Sidecar Championship series.
They completed the West of England event at Bovey Tracey on Saturday to take maximum points ahead of luckless Rochester father and son duo Rupert and Chris Kimber (Rochester) with Peter Dale and Harriet Shore (Reading) in third place.
On Saturday at Bovey Tracey the Luscombes were victorious for the second time and now lead the series by twenty six points from Dale and Shore.
On Sunday at the Camborne & Redruth trial at Tregurgh the Kimbers crashed heavily in the eighteenth section. Former champions Steve Radford and Mike Redstone (East Newlyn) won Saturday’s Clubman class event from Bristol’s Andy Scrivens and Paul Churchill.
Clubman class contenders Nigel Scott and passenger Jay Ashley-Hall Huddersfield) won the Saturday event and finished fourth on Sunday. That result takes their score to fifty three points by one point from Mark Kemp and Ia Allaway (Braintree).
