The Telford Classic Off Road and Road race show –the largest racing show in Europe is upon us ! Morecombe “missile” John Mcguiness 19 times a TT winner and current lap record holder is the star guest. A brilliant conversationalist , John appears on stage at 1pm each day.Though his TT winning machine is on display the star exhibit in all its glory is the full factory Moto GP Ducati of Valentino Rossi. Moto Gp Sky sports commentator Julian Ryder also gives his opinionated views on Rossi's 2013 chances and his predictions for this year.
The legendary Sammy Miller brings the Rennsport engined 1954 solo BMW that the German legend Walter Zeller rode to runner up position in the 1956 500cc world series behind John Surtees 4 cylinder MV . Everyone including Geoff Duke, tried to tame it but no one but Zeller came close . He also brings the legendary 1957 500cc V8 Guzzi and both will run in all their glory each day .Mike Hailwoods MV and the fabulous rotary Norton are there .Continental circus star of the sixties Jim Curry also brings his renowned wit to the stage each day in a weekend that has become one of the “must do” events of the calendar for the Off road and Road race world .Off road guests are 1965 British Experts Trial Winner Scott Ellis, 5 times British Scrambles champion in the seventies and all the way from Borneo ,Bryan”wild Man” Wade, plus a whole host of legendary race winners from the “golden era” .
