Cookstown Sizzler for Farquhar!

Current Duke Rankings Title Holder Ryan Farquhar took four chequered flags and set two lap records at the 90th anniversary Cookstown 100 Road Races as he claimed the 'Man of the Meeting' Award and taking his total wins at Cookstown to an impressive 26 so far!

However, the Dungannon rider had to settle for second place in his first outing of the day, the Open Race to Guy Martin, with Michael Dunlop making his McAdoo Racing debut on an immaculately turned out Kawasaki third. Ryan's first victory of the day came in the Moto 450 event, where he set a new lap record, he then took the Supersport 600 race from William Dunlop, with brother Michael again third.

He was in determined mood for the feature Cookstown 100 race, leading from start to finish taking victory by four seconds from Michael Dunlop with a rejuvinated Adrian Archibald filling the final podium spot.

The KMR Kawasaki team owner then finished the day off with a win in the SuperTwins race, as his protege Jamie Hamilton took second polace ahead of Michael Sweeney. Ryan setting yet another lap record in this class.

William Dunlop, as expected posted a double in the two-stroke classes, whilst the Support races were won by Alan Kenny and Scott Campbell.

Peter Wakefield, Keith Costello and Richard Ford took the Classic honours.

It is no surprise that current champion Ryan Farquhar tops the table after two rounds, the Ian Watson Spring National at Oliver's Mount and the 90th Anniversary Cookstown 100 with a massive 500 points.

Adrian Archibald holds second place having moved up one position after the first round, whilst William Dunlop making his 2012 road racing debut slots into third place. Highest mover after the second round is Davy Morgan climbing 20 places to 12th
