After importing thousands of tonnes of soil, large rocks, tree trunks and other rideable items, the Milton Buzzard Club lead mainly in this project by Club Secretary Andy Martin, have built a facility second to none. All fenced off and totally secure, the Club have built a superb Trials venue that caters for all types of rider, a facility all involved at the Club can be justly proud of.

On a fantastic bright sunny day at least 60 riders of all ages and abilities turned up between 10.30 and 2.30pm to ride the varying sections to test their riding skills.

Members of the Parks Trust were present as were members of the Club and the ACU’s General Secretary Gary Thompson was there to answer any questions of a general ACU nature.

Club Secretary Andy Martin said, “It’s taken a while to build the facility, a lot of hard work has gone into it, but when you see everyone turn up like they have today, it has been well worth the effort put in by everyone involved”. He was justifiably pleased with the turnout as was Julian Wigg, Chairman of Milton Buzzard.

Gary Thompson said “Congratulations to the Milton Buzzard Club, they have a piece of ground here that must be the envy of many. With the availability of land ever decreasing and the constant threats we have on our sport regarding noise and other issues, initiatives like this have to be applauded. This is testament to Andy in particular and the Club and today has been superb to showcase the efforts of those involved in providing a facility for so many to enjoy.  Facililites such as these provide our Champions of the future”.
