Entries are now open for the first round of Eddy’s Xtreme Enduro Series, which kicks off in Buxton, Derbyshire on December 4th.
Course build is already underway at this superb venue http://vimeo.com/32625980 and the team are planning a two-week build due to the fact that a lot of work will be needed to ensure that a top class course is ready for the World’s best extreme riders. The course will include Pro only sections along with the successful easy and hard routes, fast and slow lines which worked so well at Tong earlier in the year.
Classes for the main event include Pro, Expert, Veteran and Clubman riders along with a separate Youth 14-16 class which will have its own race of 45 minutes with a 20 minute practice session at the start of the day. The main adult event will keep to the successful and proven format of a one-hour timed practice session, which will include seeding for start positions followed by two one-hour races.
The first practice session starts at 9.30am and the presentation is scheduled for 3.00pm with non-stop extreme action throughout the day.
Admission prices have been kept the same at £10 for adults, £5 for children and OAPs and again, there will be no charge for parking. All information is available on www.fasteddyracing.com. Entry forms can be downloaded from the Eddys Xtreme page on the site.
This first round has received title sponsorship from Gas Gas UK, who will be holding a test day on December 3rd, the day before the main event.
This official ACU British Championship has attracted all the top names with Knight, Lampkin, Jarvis, Sagar, McCanney and Walker along with experienced extreme riders such as Paul Bolton and the Hemingway brothers. A great mix of riders from all disciplines.
Finally, we cannot forget the riders that really make this event a spectacle and top Expert, Veteran and Clubman riders along with some of the best up-and-coming XC riders in the UK will all be in attendance.
The event is supported by Gas Gas UK, Husqvarna, Oakland International, Goldentyre, Rock Oil, Kriega, Adventure Spec, Amped Clothing, Drift Innovation and Edmondson Racing.
