A brand-new spectator-friendly trials event is coming to Yorkshire this spring as Urban Super Trial - Round 1 arrives in Otley on Saturday 23 May 2026, bringing together some of the best motorcycle trials riders from the UK and Europe.
Promoted by CL Events, the event will feature nine elite riders competing across six manmade sections in a high-intensity timed knockout format designed specifically for spectators. The innovative urban trials format places the action front and centre, giving fans a close-up view of the skill, precision and control that define modern motorcycle trials.
Among the riders confirmed for the event are world champions, national champions and rising international contenders including Harry Hemingway, George Hemingway, Jack Peace, Billy Green, Jack Dance, Aniol Gelabert, Arnau Farré, Harry Turner, and Harrison Skelton.
The competition will begin with qualifying rounds before progressing to semi-finals and a six-rider final, where competitors will tackle the sections under pressure in a race against the clock. Riders will be eliminated throughout the day, leaving the four best performers to battle it out in the closing stages of the event.
Alongside the main competition, spectators can enjoy a full day of entertainment including trade stands, food vendors, a bar, and live music following the event. A youth electric bike demonstration will also showcase the next generation of trials riders.
Urban Super Trial is organised by CL Events, who previously hosted the TrialGP of Great Britain and are now launching a new series of events designed to showcase trials in a dynamic, accessible format.
The Otley event forms part of a wider calendar for CL Events in 2026 which also includes rounds of the British Trials Championship and a second Urban Super Trial event later in the summer.
With a strong international rider lineup and a spectator-focused format, Urban Super Trial aims to deliver a unique motorsport experience and help grow the audience for trials in the UK.
Tickets are available now with adult tickets priced at £15 and children’s tickets at £5.
