As most people are aware the three ACU National Rallies did not take place in 2025.
We lost vital committee members which forced the remaining members to cancel this year's rallies.
The reason for this communication is to establish if we can recruit new members and interest to the rally organising committee.
We intend to hold an open meeting on Thursday 2nd October at 1pm, this meeting will be held at the ACU House, Wood Street, Rugby, CV21 2YX.
Anyone who would like to help us on a volunteer basis to return the rallies to the calendar in 2026 would be most welcome to attend this meeting, we are specifically looking for individuals who have skills certainly in IT and to look after other aspects of help which makes the rallies run smoothly such as sponsorship and marketing and promotion of the events.
There is still a lot of interest in the Rallies, and it would be a shame to see them disappear from the calendar again in 2026, especially as the English Rally is only eight years from its centenary.
