Champions Crowned at the 2025 ACU OSET Youth TrialGB Finale on the Isle of Man
The 2025 ACU OSET Youth TrialGB Championship was rounded up with a fantastic two-day event hosted by Peveril Motorcycle Club and IOM Youth Trials Club at Peveril’s facility at Knock Froy in the Isle of Man.

 

The three lap course featuring 10 sections were designed by section manager Mark Higgins had a variation of terrain with streams, hills, natural rocks and a man-made arena for the last two sections.  The Isle of Man Scrutineers Association were the technical officials on both days and did a brilliant job with the scrutineering.   With 61 entries and no non-starters it was an impressive finish to an already fantastic championship.

 

In the TrialGB Aspire Girls Class, Lily Butterworth was the only entry over the weekend with fantastic rides, she had already obtained enough points to take the lead in the championship going into the final rounds and took the overall Championship Title.

 

In the Trial GB Aspire Boys, there was really impressive riding amongst the riders with Tommy Keet taking the win on both days and the overall Championship Title, Archie Birley finished in 2nd Place and Benjamin James in 3rd overall.

 

The Trial2Y Foundation Girls had the largest female entry of four riders and have been great competition all year, Clodagh Higgins rounded off the year taking the win in the final two rounds and with the success of winning all 6 rounds was the Trial2Y Girls Champion with Daisy Brookes taking 2nd, Celeste Phipps taking 3rd and  Ellyn Welch 4th.

 

The Trial 2Y Foundation Boys seen 13 riders compete in some challenging sections with Joshua Tate taking the win on both days and undefeated all year, Joshua took the Championship Title with Tomos Reese finishing 2nd and Rowan Harland in 3rd.

 

Trial 3Y Foundation Girls was a battle to the very last round with Harper Oliver and Maise Danes in equal points going into the weekend, with Harper finishing in 1st place on Saturday and Maisie taking the top step on the last round, the championship title went to Maisie Danes with Harper Oliver taking the runner up position and Alessandra Beaumont in 3rd place.

 

Trial 3Y Foundation Boys seen very impressive riding with Tommy Wakeford taking the win on the Saturday and Vaughn Harland 2nd place, the Sunday seen Vaughn take the win with  Tommy in 2nd place with Thomas Tidd in 3rd place on both days.  Vaughn Harland took the overall championship Title with Tommy Wakeford in 2nd and Thomas Tidd 3rd in the Series.

 

Trial 4Y Debutant Girls seen the youngest of our girls showing how much they have progressed throughout the championship, with Chloe Grace Charlton taking the top step of the podium on both days with Alba Gill in 2nd place.

 

The youngest of the boys was the largest class of the weekend in the Trial 4Y Debutant, with Edward Wainwright having an impressive ride of only dropping 3 marks on the Saturday and finishing the trial clean on the Sunday followed by Oliver Norman who was 2nd on both days, Bowie Sinkinson 3rd on the Saturday with William Franks 3rd on the Sunday.  With the championship Title going to Edward, Oliver in 2nd  and Ethan Stewart 3rd overall.
