The No Limits Racing paddock headed to Donington Park for Round 4 of the 2025 season, greeted with packed grids and a packed schedule. Riders and spectators enjoyed the scorching conditions on Saturday as a feature-length 6-hour endurance race got underway. It was a pivotal meeting, and with the season entering its halfway point, here is your full round-up of all the action!
The ACU Motul Endurance Championship brought a new challenge to the forefront, with riders treated to a gruelling 6-hour race, which would test their machines to the limit. Whitelines MC’s / Maselli took the overall and National 1000 honours, storming to win after an impressive 213 laps! The #32 Tr4ck Sl4gs team claimed P1 in the Club 1000 class, while clinching second position overall as Team DMR rounded out the overall podium. GMJ Racing claimed Club 600 honours and a solid P6 overall finish as In The Doghouse Racing brought the #505 bike to the National 600 win – P9 overall.
The Next-Gen Sportbikes brought plenty of drama throughout their four races, as Lewis Smart and Rossi Banham went head-to-head: it was Triumph vs Yamaha. Both Smart and Banham claimed two wins each, with Jacob Stephenson remaining consistent, grabbing four consecutive class podiums. Josh Froggatt continued to dominate the Supertwin class, winning all four races and leaving John Coughlan and Jim Weatherald to fight for the class rostrum spots. It was a similar story in Standard Twins as Noah Guillery sprinting to victory ahead of Toby Cook, James Egginton, Neil Connell and Callum Wren, who fought for a place inside the top three.
Max Bartle and Josh Langman went head-to-head throughout the CB500 races, leaving the crowd on the edge of their seats for all four races. Benjamin Round, James Cottenham and Fredick Russo would earn a podium finish as the stakes remained high in the eight-lap duels. Karl Freeth continued his run of form in the CB500 Veteran category, winning every race in class as Luke Hutchison impressed in the CB500 Newcomers, securing three wins before a mechanical allowed Carl Bayliss to enjoy Race 4 victory. David Richardson and Rory Creith shared success in the 400s as their attention turns to Round 5 of the season!
The Pirelli Super Series 600 category attracted world-class talent once more as Jeremy Alcoba joined the action for our first visit to Donington Park this season. Alcoba would only get faster as the weekend progressed, winning all three races. Adam Hartgrove secured a run of second positions, beating James Alderson and Daniel Stamper, who completed the podium throughout an incredible weekend of racing.
Three races, three winners in the Metzeler Newcomer 600s, with unpredictable races and championship momentum swings being the theme of 2025. Jack Morgan started the weekend strong, securing a stunning victory before Luca Jennings fought back in Race 2 and later Keaten Leatherland in a dramatic final race. Karl Beresford took three strong podium finishes, as spectators had plenty to enjoy as the Pre-Injection 600 battle continues to be fierce. Karl Foster, Liam McPherson and Carl Vickers stood on the top step, ending an unforgettable Round 4 in Pre-Injections.
The Cup 1000s were one of the most anticipated classes of the weekend, with Aaron Daykin, James McLaren and Jon Harwood sharing top honours in a weekend full of mixed fortunes. Tommi Caldwell took podiums in every Cup 1000 race of the weekend, with the category enjoying four races at Donington. Over in the Newcomer 1000s, all talk surrounded Gareth Evans and Gavin Parry, who shared the top spot across the Newcomer’s three races while Anthony Snowball and David Croan joined them on the podium. The Old School 1K Trophy battled at the same time on track as Dean Turner took a thrilling win on Saturday, before domination on Sunday from Adam Viney.
The Pirelli Super Series 100 grid was treated as a challenge on Saturday as Kyle Ryde joined the grid, storming to victory on board his Ducati. However, with Ryde opting for a change of machinery on Sunday, Ryan Dixon and Max Lofthouse were left to fight and earn a victory each. Steven Butterworth and Jeremy Alcoba both stood on the podium as the title fight began to get intense. Celvin Heaver and Scott Halliday charged to victory in the Premier 1000 class, while Matthew Whitney, Michael Needham, Scott Stone and Wilfrid Turner stood on a hotly contested podium.
The No Limits Cup 600s had a busy Sunday, with riders faced with three races to enjoy as Kyle Jenkins and Brand Petty stood on the top step of the podium. Kenneth Macleod continued his strong run of results on the podium, along with Thomas Kirk, who snatched third from the #36 in Race 2. Over in the Streetbike class, Kyle Ryde got involved, dominating proceedings in the category and even battling for the overall win. Paul Pridmore and Craig Sharman finished on the Streetbike podium as Michael Vincent and Andy Ashcroft took the spoils in the Ducati Challenge.
Elsewhere, the UK Armed Forces Inter Service Championship returned to action at Donington Park with Celvin Heaver starting from pole position. However, everything changed in the sole race as Aaron Evangelista claimed victory for TEAM ARMY ahead of Kenneth Macleod and Jack Morgan, while Heaver finished down in P14.
