NORA MX Conquers the Mountain
The engines roared, the dust flew, and history was made—NORA MX proudly took part in the first ever Monster Mountain Dirt Days Festival, and it’s safe to say: we’re already looking forward to what’s next.

As the first edition of what promises to become a flagship event in the UK off-road calendar, the Dirt Days Festival set an impressive tone. Held at the stunning Monster Mountain venue, the event brought together off-road enthusiasts from across the country for a weekend of adrenaline, community, and skill-building.

NORA MX came with a mission: to put Quad and Sidecar motocross front and center, and to help the next generation of riders reach new heights. What better way to do that than with some of the best talent in the country?

Top-tier riders Harry Walker, Dafydd Davies, and Steve Kirwin brought their A-game—not just in performance, but in mentorship. Across the weekend, they provided expert coaching to riders of all ages and skill levels. From complete beginners to seasoned competitors, everyone had the opportunity to sharpen their skills and gain insight from the very best.

These legends didn’t just show how it’s done—they empowered others to do it too. Whether it was nailing a corner, managing throttle control, or just finding the confidence to push harder, the impact of their coaching was clear. Riders left the sessions buzzing, not just from the adrenaline, but from the sense of real progress.

But it wasn’t just about rider development. NORA MX was there to represent and celebrate the Quad and Sidecar racing community, a core but often underrepresented part of motorsport. Judging by the reactions from festival-goers—many of whom were seeing the sport up close for the first time—it made a lasting impression.

For a first-year festival, Dirt Days delivered in a big way. And NORA MX hopes to see the festival continue to grow.

“We’re proud to have been a part of the first Dirt Days Festival,” said Luke Brown. “Events like this are vital for growing the sport, bringing in new faces, and showcasing what makes Quad and Sidecar Racing so unique. We believe this is just the beginning—and we’re excited to see it grow year on year. We certainly hope we can be part of its future success going forward”

As the engines cool and the track settles, one thing is clear: NORA MX conquered the mountain, and the mountain has plenty more to offer.

Nora MX would like to say a huge thankyou to all the riders who supported the event, as well as Harry, Dafydd and Steve for their time and efforts in becoming ACU Certified club coaches.

“The event would not have been the success it was, without the support of the coaches, as well as the Auto Cycle Union. The ACU have been pivotal in supporting us as a club in launching the first large Scale Quad and Sidecar Training Day under the ACU banner” Said Luke, “we also cannot thank Mark and his Team at Monster Mountain for the countless hours that have gone into building this event! It’s a great step for the offroad community, and one we hope to be a part of in the future”
