X-Trial Leeds on Saturday 24 January 2026 at the First Direct Arena - Leeds will mark the fifth stop on the 2026 FIM X-Trial World Championship tour, as the series makes a long and overdue return to Great Britain after a ten-year absence. With the full schedule now confirmed X-Trial Leeds is amongst just nine host cities that have been selected to make up the 2026 championship.
The new campaign will get underway in Andorra La Vella - Andorra as the small mountainous principality holds the opening round before the action then shifts to the Spanish capital city of Madrid for the second points scoring encounter. After the long trip to the remote French city of Saint-Denis - Reunion Island in the middle of the Indian ocean for round three, the riders will return to Europe for the fourth stop in Ponte di Legno - Italy ahead of the Xmas break.
Leeds then has the honour of being the opening round of the new year, as the First Direct Arena hosts its inaugural motorcycle event of any kind and welcomes this prestigious global competition back to the UK for the first time since 2016. The remainder of the 2026 season will include stops in Barcelona - Spain; Chalon-sur-Saone - France; Lisbon - Portugal and Tarragona - Spain.
