Next stop: Rhayader! The 2025 Paulo Duarte FIM EnduroGP World Championship has reached its halfway mark, and all eyes are now on Mid Wales, where the world’s best riders will battle it out at the Forsiteservices EnduroGP of Wales, 1–3 August.

Following an action-packed weekend in Skövde, Sweden, the championship standings have been shaken up, leaving the title fight wide open heading into the UK’s biggest off-road event of the year.

Round three brought dramatic shifts in momentum and the overall rankings as Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia bounced back from injury to take a commanding day two victory, extending his lead at the top of the EnduroGP standings. Sitting on 109 points, he now holds a narrow lead over GASGAS Factory Racing’s Andrea Verona (95 pts) and TM MOTO Boano’s Zach Pichon (91 pts), setting the stage for an epic showdown on Welsh soil.

Garcia’s win followed Pichon’s standout victory on Saturday and Verona’s blistering performance in the Akrapovic Super Test, making all three riders’ top contenders to watch when the championship rolls into Rhayader.

In the Junior class, it was a weekend to remember for Swedish home hero Axel Semb (Fantic), who delivered a stunning double win in front of a passionate home crowd. Australia’s Kyron Bacon (Kawasaki) showed great pace with two runner-up finishes, while Kevin Cristino (Fantic), Leo Joyon (Beta), and Thibault Giraudon (Sherco) continued to battle for podium honours.

The Youth class saw a tight fight between Alberto Elgari (TM MOTO) and Pietro Scardina (Fantic), with both riders taking one win each in Sweden. Elgari now leads the standings as the series heads to Wales.

After last racing at round one in Portugal, the Expotrade FIM Women’s Enduro World Championship returns to action at the Forsiteservices EnduroGP of Wales. While championship leader Francesca Nocera (Honda) has picked up an injury, the fight continues with Rachel Gutish (RIEJU) and Britain’s own Nieve Holmes (Sherco) ready to go bar-to-bar in front of a home crowd.

With just three rounds to go, Rhayader isn’t just another stop, it’ll be a turning point in the 2025 championship. The fan-favourite Friday night Super Test returns to kick off the weekend, followed by two full days of world-class enduro racing across iconic Welsh terrain.

Tickets and camping passes are on sale now, with Tier 1 pricing ending this Saturday 31st May before final release begins. Secure your place early and be part of the most exciting weekend of racing in the UK!

Adam Rees – Event Director, EnduroGP of Wales: “Round 3 in Sweden delivered exactly the kind of drama that makes EnduroGP so special, with a real shake-up in the championship, a statement win from Josep Garcia, and huge performances across all classes. Now, with just three rounds left and the title race tighter than ever, all eyes are on Rhayader. The Forsiteservices EnduroGP of Wales is next, and it’s going to be absolutely pivotal. We can’t wait to welcome the world to Rhayader in August!”
