For nearly half of my 25+ year racing career, I had the honour of wearing the legendary Coventry Bees race jacket. I captained the team, raced at the iconic Brandon Stadium, earned the nickname “The Brandon Bomber,” won league titles even getting run over at Poole in the process—memories I’ll never forget.
In 2016, the sport lost access to this historic stadium, but the site still stands and there is still a real chance to bring speedway and stox back to Brandon.
