With Christmas fast approaching the ACU would like to remind all riders that it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that the helmet they present to Technical Control is ACU Approved and has the suitable ACU Gold Sticker attached.
With the increase in Online purchases and ordering from European companies, the number of Helmets on the market without ACU Stickers is increasing. This is creating a problem for Technical Officials who are having to reject more and more Helmets at events, causing riders to use a different helmet or withdraw from the event.
