The Tamar Valley Club would like to announce a venue change for the opening round of the British Sidecarcross Championship and the Point – S South West Masters series. This will take place on the 12th April. It has been decided that with many outside forces currently making organising events extremely difficult, including the British weather and the Coronavirus, it is much safer to organise an event closer to the club base, where we have complete control of track preparation and other associated items. The decision has been taken to switch the event on the 12th April to Whiteway Barton, near Kingsteignton which has hosted British Sidecarcross events in the past. The venue was also due to be used as the opening round for the Masters series which unfortunately had to be cancelled last weekend.
Entries for all classes are now available on the Ride ACU website.
A spokesman for the club said, “We are very grateful to the Frome Club for their understanding of this and we wish them well with their practise day on the 13th. However, we have organised numerous events at Whiteway Barton and are confident that the venue will offer the best option to get both series underway.
