A boost for the ACU British Motocross Championship
The ACU is pleased to announce that MX Vice’s Lewis Phillips will be pushing the ACU British Motocross Championship social-media platforms forward from this point on, in an effort to boost the championship’s online presence heading into the new season.

In his new role, Lewis will be posting regular updates along with press releases for the series, therefore ensuring that its teams, riders, fans and commercial partners alike are aware of everything that is going on in a timely fashion.

2020 promises to be a very interesting year for the ACU British Motocross Championship. Tommy Searle is going to focus solely on the domestic premier class with Buildbase Honda, Shaun Simpson will bring his own SS24 KTM team into the series and former champion Evgeny Bobryshev will return to Great Britain with the PAR Homes RFX Racing Husqvarna outfit.

The MX2 class will be bursting with talent too, as Conrad Mewse (Hitachi KTM fuelled by Milwaukee) takes on Bas Vaessen (Hitachi KTM fuelled by Milwaukee) and the rest of the rising stars. It is only right that the activity online matches up to the exciting on-track action.

Steve McCauley (ACU MX Chairman): “On behalf of the ACU Motocross Committee we are delighted to have secured the services of Lewis Philips to handle the PR and media for the 2020 ACU British Motocross Championship. We have been in discussions about next year, since the final round at Landrake. This culminated in an agreement that saw Lewis start to work on the series as of November 1 this year. We are looking forward to developing the digital profile of one of the oldest and most respected domestic motocross championships in the world, and I am sure many of you would have noticed the differences already.”

Lewis Phillips: “This is something that riders, teams and fans alike have wanted to happen for a while – that is no secret. It is great to be trusted with the task and I have already seen big improvements in the week that I have been testing the channels. MX Vice was built on the social-media platforms, so bringing that knowledge across to the ACU British Championship makes a lot of sense.”
