The MX-ST: Something special from Maxxis
Developed by motocross legend Jeremy McGrath, and official tyre of the MXGP, the Maxxcross MX-ST tyre is designed with the rider in mind. Rapid acceleration, immaculate handling and long tyre life are just some of the benefits of putting the latest Maxxis motocross tyres on your bike.

The Maxxcross MX-ST is a tyre designed for players and professionals alike; affordable, available and designed with the rider in mind, it delivers everything the rider needs. From acceleration to handling to braking and longevity of tyre lifespan, the MX-ST is the perfect tyre for practice or racing.

An official tyre of the MX GP, it has quickly become the tyre of choice for professional racers across the paddock in MX1, MX2, EMX250 and EMX125 with multiple race wins in the first year.

“The Maxxis MX-ST tyre is like a breath of fresh air. It handles well, provides excellent traction and seems to last forever. These tyres provide the grip I need on a wide range of track surfaces and enable me to push harder than ever before.” Iker Larranaga, Marchetti Racing Team KTM

Available since early 2019 for 19” rears and 21” fronts, the tyre is soon to become available in a stockist near you for 12”, 14”, 16”, 17” and 18” wheels too. This makes the MX-ST a great tyre for adults and kids alike, benefitting from excellent handling for optimal safety when riding.

The tyre has been developed and tested by motocross legend Jeremy McGrath, who worked closely with the Maxxis engineers to produce the perfect tyre for soft/intermediate terrain racing. The tyre has been perfected over many prototypes and test days to result in a tyre suitable not just for competition, but for everyday riders too.

“The focus was acceleration; getting a good start in a race is critical to a competitor’s performance throughout the rest of that race, and soft terrain is where most tyres struggle to gain enough traction. I worked with the Maxxis team to optimise the perfect tread pattern for excellent grip even on soft terrain that resulted in unbelievable off-the-line speed pickup that I see demonstrated in the MX GP all the time.” Jeremy McGrath, Professional Motocross Rider

Any rider competing in the Maxxis British Motocross Championship 2019 MX1 or MX2 is eligible to join the Maxxis Win Bonus scheme.
