The 2018 International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) will take place in Chile during the period 12-17 November. It is very unlikely that the ACU Trials & Enduro Committee will send a Trophy or Junior team to this years ISDE due to the lack of interest and last minute withdrawal by the riders in recent years however in order to gauge interest and level of competence, riders who wish to be considered and are committed for selection to ride in the ACU British teams for 2018 are invited to submit their interest in writing to the Team Manager before 15 February 2018. For team selection, the applicant’s results in the FIM World Enduro Championship, FIME European Enduro Championship and ACU British Enduro Championship will be the first consideration. Additionally, consideration will be given to results in the ACU British Extreme Championship, ACU British Enduro Sprint Championship, GNCC and other National and overseas Enduro type events, ACU British MX Championship, Other National level ACU MX competitions and other selected qualifying/training Enduros - Welsh 2 day etc. To be considered for selection, riders must send a letter or email detailing the following to gbisdetm@yahoo.co.uk; Name, Date of birth Passport number (you must hold British passport) Full postal address, Telephone number (home and mobile), Email address, Any current sponsors and any notable achievements that you consider may influence selection Riders will not be considered for selection unless they have completed this process. It should also be noted that this process is separate to applications to the ACU U23 Training squad, but U23s should apply if wishing to be considered for ISDE selection. Selected riders must be aware that they will be expected to make a contribution towards the cost of the trip. It is proposed that selected riders will be given the entry fee, fuel and support, riding shirts (compulsory wear), event licence and insurance fees. Dependant on responses the ACU Trial & Enduro Committee may reconsider their current position.
