On the 18th and 19th June, the FIM Monster Energy World Motocross Championship will be taking place at the Matterley Basin circuit in Winchester and the ACU are looking for people who would like to Marshal during the course of the two day event. The event will be over two race days and will include MXGP, MX2, EMX125, EMX 250, EMX150 and EMX300.
Previous experience of Marshalling is useful but full training and a briefing will take place on Friday evening at 8PM. Each marshal who signs up to marshal for both days will receive the following:
- Event Programme
- Marshal Pass
- One guest pass – (to be a nominated name nearer the event)
- One T Shirt
- Lunch Refreshments for Saturday /Sunday
- Free camping is provided for one vehicle / tent and the marshal area will be located closer to the hub of the event behind the event management units.
The marshals free guest MUST arrive at the same time as the Marshal, due to strict restrictions within the Marshal Camping area.
All Marshals will be required to attend the Marshal training in the Marshal camping area on Friday 17
th June at 20.00.
The Chief Marshal for this event will be Colin Bushell.
