Eastern Centre Motocross Championship moves on to Lyng
This Sunday (17th May) the Norwich Viking MCC host the third round of the Eastern Centre Motocross Championship at their famous Cadders Hill, Lyng, Norfolk circuit which has been modified slightly for the 2015 season. They will be using the full Championship circuit which is some 1,860m in length and received high praise from Shaun Simpson and Max Anstie following their awesome rides in the Maxxis ACU British Championship last month. With almost 200 riders entered there is sure to be plenty of action during the exciting 15 race programme.

The Expert line up consists of the best riders in the Eastern region including current Championship leader Luke Benstead who will be looking to extend his points lead over South Eastern Centre resident, Daniel Arnold. Other local stars include Brad Tomlin, Shaun Southgate, Jason Morland, and Luke Parker. With such a strong line up the racing is sure to be really exciting over this long and physically demanding track.

In the Junior class the racing will be split into four groups with the fastest 40 competing in the Junior Championship. The Championship point’s leader is Andrew Stephenson who has a healthy advantage over Jordan Cutting and John Hinz. James Miles having scored maximum 75 points at Wakes Colne was unable to compete in the second round at Blaxhall, so he will be looking to make up ground on the series leaders.

All the action starts at 9:30am with practice / timed qualification followed by the first race at around 11:00am. Admission prices are £10 for Adults, Children under 15 are free, Concessions and Unaccompanied Children are £5. Cadders Hill, Lyng can be located using the postcode NR9 5QZ.
