Oliver’s Mount Race Circuit is thrilled to announce that they have signed a contract with Hel Performance that will see them as a circuit partner for the next 5 years
Oliver's Mount:
Oliver’s Mount road race circuit is England’s only natural ‘road’ race track. Situated just five minutes from Scarborough’s town centre, the races have been likened to a ‘miniature TT by the seaside’. Edge of your seat racing, the closest action seen at any race venue, friendly locals and a stunning setting are all key features of a race weekend at Oliver’s Mount.
Importantly, for the racers, the 2.43 mile track has always been regarded as a challenging, tight and twisty circuit, which tests their skills to the maximum. With a racing heritage that dates back to 1946, Oliver’s Mount Race Circuit has a rich history of motor racing and has seen many of the great riders race at ‘The Mount’ over the years.
The rich history that Oliver's Mount has and the revolution of Road Racing in the last few years has left Shoei and Spada jumping onboard with the Scarborough circuit for 2015.
Hel Performance:
Hose-Equip was established in 1985 as an authorised Aeroquip distributor and quickly gained a reputation in the Industrial, Marine and Hydraulic marketplace for a friendly approach to both quality and service. This developed into them becoming an authorised MOD contractor and an ISO9000 quality assured company.
Quality is at the fore front of what we are as a company today. In 2000 the company was acquired by the current owners for the sole purpose of targeting the performance fluid transfer marketplace. The name was changed to Hose Equip Limited and the HEL Performance brand was born. The now world-famous Devils Tail logo was commissioned and the brand was launched.
As the staff numbers at the headquarters in Exeter in the UK have increased so have the number of manufacturers and distributors around the world that make up the special group we call HEL Performance. The best people, supplying the best products, to the best customers.

'Hel Performance were one of the first companies to sign up with Oliver's Mount for the 2015 race season. They were so enthusiastic that they wanted to look at naming rights for the circuit. So we are very pleased to announce that 'Hel Drop' will be a part of the Oliver's Mount Circuit for the next 5 years. The descent between Drury's Hairpin and Mountside Hairpin will now become 'Hel Drop'. Hel Performance represent the highest performance in brake lines and we are very pleased to have their support.'
