After five successful years sponsoring the ACU British Sidecar, Youth and Ladies Trials Championship Robin Luscombe has made the decision to concentrate on Leeds based charities. “I have in mind St Gemma’s Hospice, Mencap and Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal at present. Luscombe Suzuki Leeds has supported Cancer Research in recent years”, commented Mr Luscombe on Friday from his Leeds headquarters. The triple franchise dealership, this year has sponsored thirty one events on the National calendar. The five years support of the British Sidecar Trials Championship is directly related to Robin Luscombe’s virtually unbeatable Sidecar Championship winning record. He has won sixteen British titles, 18 Manx Sidecar, plus three World successes and one visit to Australia where he won the Australian sidecar trials championship. The Youth Championship series support was taken on three years ago while the option on the Ladies and Girls Championship was taken up for 2014. It is stressed that Robin and Sam Luscombe will be competing in sidecar and solo events in 2015.
