Manx Radio have announced there broadcasting schedule and frequencies for the Steam Packet Southern 100 International Road Races, which commence on Monday 11th July with the opening practice session and continue on Tuesday with final qualifying and the first two races.
Wednesday and Thursday the racing continues and ‘the friendly races’ conclude with the unique Open Air Prize Presentation in Castletown Square on Thursday evening.
Tuesday 12 July
Marc Tyley presents Greatest Hits Live from 19.00 to 22.00 includes live coverage of racing from Southern 100 on both AM, FM & on line.
Wednesday 13 July
John Hines presents Greatest Hits Live from 18.15 to 22.00 includes live coverage of racing from Southern 100 from 18.20 on both AM, FM & on line.
Thursday 14 July
Live coverage of Southern 100 racing from 10.00 – 17.00 John Hines to T/O at BH Transmit on the on RSL on 100.6MHz around the circuit and on-line then on AM1368 post Tynwald Sitting if they finish early.
Manx Radio are hoping to change the normal feed to our IPhone app and replace the normal Tynwald proceedings with the Southern 100 race coverage on the Thursday.
