APACHE, one of the UK’s leading importers of quad bikes and ATVs, has joined forces with the ACU to back the prestigious 2010 ACU British Youth Quad Championship.
The event will be known as the “ACU Apache British Youth Quad Championship” and will take place provisionally on 18-19th September 2010 at a venue yet to be announced. Riders from the age of 6 to 17 years of age can take part in the one-event Championship event.
ACU Business Development Manager Dave Luscombe said: “Apache is a main player in the quad market and the ACU is delighted to welcome it as a sponsor of the ACU British Youth Quad Championship. This is grass roots support for our sport and I am sure the event will be a big success for all involved.”
Apache has been at the forefront of the children/junior quad market for more than a decade, selling tens of thousands of quads from the smallest Mini Tomahawk 50cc to the hugely popular all rounder, the Apache RLX 100 Sport. But it was when the Apache F100 Liquid Cooled Quad range was launched just over five years ago, that Apache began to make its mark on the racing circuit with the F100 proving to be a race winner time and time again. Since then, Apache has launched two specially designed race models - the Apache F50 and Apache F100 Works models which are now used extensively across Europe and proving successful in the racing series in which they are used.
Today Apache's range tops 16 models and in addition to the junior/children's range there is a range of adult off road and road legal models to rival the best in the business. Apache's Managing Director Richard Latham said "We are thrilled to sponsor the ACU Apache British Youth Quad Championship in 2010. Of course, it would be brilliant if a rider with an Apache could win it, but we'll be just pleased to support ACU and quad racing in general next year.”
He added “We greatly value the business that the junior race people bring to our business and we are working hard to continue to provide outstanding products at competitive prices.”
