Sherco: New Supplier Partner of the ACU Trial GB series for 2024

SHERCO joins as a supplier partner to support the Trial GB: ACU British Motorcycle Trials Championship, for 2024.

SHERCO is a French manufacturer of Trial and Enduro bikes, and the leading motorcycle manufacturer in France. The company was created in 1998 by Marc Teissier and Andreu Codina, both former trial riders. Today the head office and the motorcycle production unit are located at a purpose-built facility in Nîmes.

The SHERCO Factory team supports none other than 9x world Trial GP champion Emma Bristow and twice Trial GP champion Adam Raga while also supporting the reigning Trial GB champion Jack Peace and the up-and-coming talents of Harry Turner and Euan Sim.

SHERCO’s latest 2024 trial offering boasts a fuel injection system, a revised 2-stroke engine configuration, and are extremely light weight. The bikes are available as 125, 250, and 300cc versions.

James Fry, Sherco UK: “The British Trials Championship is a very important platform to showcase the best riders in UK. The Trial GB team have a lot of work to do to run this series so if we can help make their job slightly easier at events with the use of a bike, we are very happy to provide this support.”

Barry Huskinson, ACU Trial GB Series Manager: “I am delighted to be working with James from SHERCO UK on this project. Logistically it is quite a feat to keep an event set up compact enough and still fulfil the necessary requirements for all the Trial GB events this year. So the fact SHERCO have stepped forward and will supply, prepare and transport a bike to each round has really helped mobilise our event crew for on-site activities”.

Trial GB will run over a five-round series from April to September, with hosting clubs providing a, spectator friendly, compact lap where you can witness some of the best motorcycle control on the planet, and get up close to the UK’s best riders.

Entries are still open for round 1 of the Trial GB: ACU British Motorcycle Trials Championship, presented by Talon. Competitors can enter via the ACU members portal as per previous seasons. The first event is hosted by the Bootle Scramble MCC and will take place on April 21st in Cumbria, with further details available on the series website: www.acutrialgb.org.uk
