This Sunday August 31st top flight motocross action is back at Cusses Gorse which only three weeks ago hosted round 7 of the Maxxis British Championships on what could only be described as one of the best prepped tracks this year. Following successful talks with the ACU Motocross Committee this week, the MX Nationals team are pleased to announce the introduction of the ACU British Experts Cup for 2015. The Experts Cup will run as part of the MX Nationals championship and will also feature as a qualifying series for the main British Championship, giving British riders the chance to progress to the professional ranks.

Sunday's penultimate round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship saw some close racing at the Cusses Gorse venue near Amesbury. The forecasted bad weather largely avoided the circuit, albeit for a few showers during practice allowing for the recent changes to the track layout to provide some exciting racing in all three classes.

The ACU Motocross Department are delighted to announce the team for this year’s Motocross of Nations, which is being held at Kegums in Latvia on the 27th and 28th September. Team Manager Neil Prince has enlisted the services of Shaun Simpson, Tommy Searle and Dean Wilson to represent Team GB at the 2014 event. With a strong group of riders to select from, Prince has had some tough decisions to make in recent weeks.
