TT Podcast Named Best Motorsports Podcast

The TT Podcast was recently awarded Best Motorsports Podcast at the 2024 Sports Podcast Awards.

The only 2-wheeled podcast in the running, The TT Podcast, produced by Audio Always and presented by host Chris Pritchard, former Isle of Man TT Races winner Steve Plater, and guest presenter and fellow TT winner Lee Johnston, beat a number of high-calibre Formula 1 podcasts in the process.

The TT Podcast features a weekly conversation with riders past and present, where they discuss their lives, journeys, ambitions, and their relationship with the greatest motor-sporting event in the world. Since 2022, some of the biggest names in road racing including Carl Fogarty MBE, Michael Dunlop, Peter Hickman, John McGuinness MBE, and Michael Rutter have all shared their breathtaking stories with TT fanatics.

In addition to the year-round weekly episodes, during the TT fortnight, The TT Podcast goes daily, with access-all-areas coverage on the tarmac of the start line, on the hedges, and in the paddock speaking with the day's race winners.

With voting open to the public, the achievement of this award is testament to the popularity of the podcast series amongst fans and the motorsport industry, and follows ‘Between The Hedges’ as the latest piece of award-winning TT content, with the 8-part video series winning a Best Original Content award at the 2023 SportsPro OTT awards.

Both The TT Podcast and Between The Hedges are products of the TT’s Digital Broadcast Strategy which - since its introduction in 2022 - has revolutionised the historic event, providing fans with more access and coverage than ever before, including two-weeks of uninterrupted live coverage available anywhere in the world.

Get a free and exclusive first-listen to the award-winning podcast on TT+, with new episodes available weekly and an extensive back catalogue of interviews.
