British Speedway Premiership Media Day

British Speedway would like to warmly invite our friends and colleagues to our full-scale Premiership Media Day at Belle Vue on Wednesday March 20 (10am-5pm).

For the first time in the history of the sport, we will be joined by all riders and team managers from the seven competing clubs, who will be taking part in a variety of activities during the day as we officially launch the 2024 season.

The Premiership goes into the new year with its strongest line-up in a decade, with a host of individual World Champions and other FIM gold medallists on the roster.

Treble World Champion Tai Woffinden lines up for defending champions Sheffield, with 2012 winner Chris Holder alongside him at Owlerton, whilst 2017 champion Jason Doyle remains with last season’s runners-up Ipswich.

World No.4 Jack Holder (Sheffield), British sensation Dan Bewley (Belle Vue) and top stars Emil Sayfutdinov (Ipswich), Max Fricke (Leicester) and Maciej Janowski (Oxford) are also amongst the all-star cast racing in the UK this season – and all will be in attendance at the National Speedway Stadium.

The Media Day will feature seven rooms at the venue, and each team will be allocated a 45-minute slot in each room. This will also include British Speedway’s official photo shoots, interviews with our broadcast partners, and content creation for social media.

The teams will be available for interviews with the general media according to the following schedule: 10.30 King’s Lynn ; 11.15 Leicester ; 12.00 Birmingham ; 14.00 Oxford ; 14.45 Belle Vue ; 15.30 Sheffield ; 16.15 Ipswich.

During the lunch break at 1pm we will be staging a press conference in the Peter Craven Suite featuring one rider from each team and hosted by Darren Fletcher (TNT Sports).

This event will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel, and members of the media will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

A full Premiership media guide will be issued in advance of the day, and will also be available at Belle Vue on March 20. This will provide you with details of all the team line-ups and other useful information regarding the Premiership in general.

We would be delighted to see you at Belle Vue for any or all of the day, and any queries should be directed to the contact details on the attached infographic.
