Motul Fastest 40 Series to run ACU Under-21 British Motocross Championship for 2024

The Motul Fastest 40 Powered by Michelin series – which surely everyone now knows is the new name for the Michelin MX Nationals – is setting up to run the Under-21 British Championship for 2024.

Here is their statement from their social media account:

“New for 2024 is the return of the official ACU under 21 British Championship as part of our Pro MX2 class.  A great platform for those making the move from the MXY2 ranks to the adult pro ranks. Who will be adding their name as the 2024 champion of this British Title, joining the likes of Brad Todd, Rossi Beard, Daniel Hutchinson, Scott Elderfield, Alex Snow, Ray Rowson, Jim Murro, Tommy Searle and Stephen Sword?”

If you want to compete in the under 21 championship please get in touch with Kevin as soon as possible via email  – Kevin@fastest40.co.uk

The Pro MX2 class will be one of three groups to be running on the Saturday at the Motul Fastest 40 Championship Powered By Michelin events, with Pro MX1 racing separately, an EMX125 Series which will also have a round at the Apico Two-Stroke Festival in August, and of course the Pro MX2 class which will incorporate the Under-21 British Championship.  So that answers the questions as to where fast teenagers on 250Fs will race as they try to make the tricky move from MXY2 Youth racing to full Adult Pro Motocross.

Early favourites for the series are likely to be Billy Askew, Ollie Colmer, Charlie Heyman, Ben Mustoe, and even Wal Beaney, although some races clash with the EMX250 rounds held at MXGP rounds.  Being mixed in with Pro MX2 riders like Charlie Cole, Jamie Wainwright, Taylor Hammal, and Joel Rizzi will also make for fascinating racing!

It all fires off the gate at Hawkstone Park on the 30th & 31st of March.  Head to the Fastest 40 website for more information!
