The FIM proudly presents its new brand identity

2024 will see the FIM celebrate its 120th anniversary, this important and historic milestone will be marked by the formal introduction of the FIM’s new brand identity, which was presented during today's General Assembly held in Liverpool.

The newly designed blue monochrome FIM logo consists of a dynamic slanted three-bold-letters-acronym, more commonly recognised as the FIM. The initial letter ‘F’ is intersected by three horizontal lines, this detailing ends on the left side with a curved silhouette, which resembles the shape of a wing.

Purposely designed, these three wings-shaped lines, also refer to as ‘speed lines’, suggest a feeling of speed, but also portray a clear graphic heritage with the classic FIM emblems of the past.

Reflecting the many different forms of use in the modern and digital world, the new FIM logos can be used with or without the lower text ‘FEDERATION INTERNATIONALE DE MOTOCYCLISME’, according to each situation.

Delighted with the outcome of the new FIM logo Jorge Viegas – FIM President commented: “The FIM’s brand identity needs to reflect the federation’s drive and desire to embrace and react to the challenges of the fast-paced world of today. Whilst we rightly want to mark and celebrate 120 years of the FIM and the great history that has brought us to this point, equally we need to look ahead too, with this in mind I believe that the new FIM logo captures the perfect mix of heritage and the future. It will be a proud moment seeing it rolled out as of 2024 and beyond.”
