MC Locksmith Further Extend Sponsorship

Southern 100 Racing are pleased to announce that MC Locksmith Services Limited have agreed to continue their sponsorship of the organisation’s Social Media Information Services and in doing so are continuing their much-valued involvement.

The specialist local company based on the White Hoe Industrial Estate in Douglas will continue to provide an IPAD and cover associated costs for all aspects of our Social Media Service.

Improvements during the past twelve months have included the building and set up of a new ‘user friendly’ website, designed and commissioned by CJS Websites, another local business.

CJS Websites are presently upgrading our Facebook and other social media pages to further enhance publicity for our much-valued sponsors and other support groups for our two major road races held annually on the Colas Billown Course.

Club Secretary, Rachel Palmer, welcomed the continued support from MC Locksmith Services saying: ‘The club are even more grateful to Mark Corrin for his continued support through these difficult times with racing returning last year after a two-year sabbatical due to the covid pandemic. Interest in our two planned races for 2023 is at the pre-pandemic level, even with four months before our first event, the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races.

Social Media continues to be an integral part of everyday life and it is important that the club maximises every opportunity to publicise our events and keep fans, enthusiasts, spectators and the general public up to date under normal circumstances with what’s happening, especially when the roads are closed around the Billown Course.

With MC Locksmith Services continuing to provide us with one of the latest IPAD’s, this will enhance and expand our social media network, which includes Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and You Tube.’

Mark Corrin, Managing Director of MC Locksmith Services added: ‘As long-time followers of road racing, especially on the Billown Course, we are delighted to be able to continue to assist the Southern 100 Racing organisation during what are still unusual times that we are experiencing and look forward to becoming more involved with ‘the friendly races’ as the two meetings have become known over the years again in 2023.’
