Team GB Lead Trophy and Women’s on ISDE Day Four

Sweet Lamb KTM Adventure Bike Experience ISDE Day Four as Team GB retains our lead in the Trophy class and gains the lead in the Women’s class!

The Trophy boys have smashed it today to put in some incredible times and now have a 4 minute 10 second lead over second placed Italy!

The Women’s team had their best day yet and have moved up into first place. We would like to wish Brandy Richards a huge get well soon and congratulate the USA Women’s team on their fierce competition thus far

The Juniors have also had a great day and recorded some consistent times and are closing the gap to Australia!

Test 1 was the best for a lot of riders such as Alex Walton, Harry Edmondson and Nieve Holmes. Nieve achieved her highest result of the day with an eighth in class. The technical woods worked well for us and made for a great start to the day!

Test 2 was the cross test by the lake which had suffered significantly after having 600+ riders pass through it on Day 3. The woods were tough and you had to respect them so as not to make a mistake. All three juniors equalled their best result of the day on this test to finish 14th, 18th and 24th (Alex, Harry, Aaron).

Test 3 was the longest of the day at around 10-12 minutes and we had an absolute stormer as a team! In the Trophy class the boys finished 2nd, 4th, 5th and 8th (Nathan, Steve, Jamie, Jed) which contributed to the 4 minute plus lead nicely!

Test 4 had been partially watered but this did little to prevent the dust from lingering. There were numerous blown out berms to say the least! Jane Daniels won this test, having won the three prior too which was just incredible! Rosie Rowett also achieved her highest result of the ISDE so far with a fourth place finish in the Women’s class!

Test 5 was the rocky stubble field in reverse again and was a great test for the Trophy team who equalled their excellent finishing positions in Test 3. The Juniors also did well and secured solid finishing positions for the day within the top 25 in class.

We are looking forward to Day 5 which brings some fresh tests and the last day of enduro before the final motocross test on Saturday (which is live-streamed).
