Sudbury MCC Dave Barkshire 2-man Championship at Pebmarsh

This last event in the Dave Barkshire championship series concludes a difficult summer with events being cancelled or postponed due to fire risk and excessive dust, with final places being decided Saturdays downpours created perfect going and presented enough challenges for the most experienced rider as they tackled changes of terrain, ditches, bridges, bogs, logs and stubble with long fast straights for each riders 4 half hour timed sessions.

With a few mechanical issues troubling a number of partnerships it made for challenging handovers and time was key to getting the laps in and clocking up as few penalties as possible. With the course reversed for the afternoon sessions and a special test for the first rider out the beautiful hot autumn afternoon guaranteed some keen sport for the good turnout of supportive spectators to enjoy.
