Speedway of Nations winner Dan Bewley top-scored for the Lions with 11 points from four rides with skipper Robert Lambert and late call-up Chris Harris both scoring eight.
Double World Champion Bartosz Zmarzlik scored 8+1 for the Poles, with the meeting abandoned three races short of a full conclusion due to rain.
British Champion Adam Ellis and Poland’s Dominik Kubera were both withdrawn with dislocated shoulders following a crash in the first attempt to run Heat 13.
