CV33 9QJ Practice 10.30am Rider Parade 12.15, Racing 12.30 Midshires Grasstrack Club are proud to have there meeting called the Peter Maddison Master of Midshires this is in honour of the the great friend to the club and grasstrack Peter Maddison. Peter’s family thought it would be a great tribute to him to sponsor the meeting in his name. It is fitting that the line up of competitors in all classes is the strongest it has ever been since the start of the Master of Midshires back in 2009.
500cc Championship Class James Shanes has been the champion for the last two years but he is unable to be with us as he is away looking to be World Longtrack Champion. Midshires wish him every success. This means the title is up for grabs and what a field we have from speedway and grasstrack. Upright Class Midshires welcomes back Peter Carr looking to retain his title but he will have stiff opposition from Steve Green, Mike Dowling, Tim Curnock, Nathan Morton, Nigel Coates, Nigel Stanford, Luke Tuck, Anthony Pye, Rob Snow, Michael Norton and Dave Meadows.
250cc Class Is led by our champion Jed Collins. Again it will not be easy for him to retain his title with Charlie Brookes, Henry Atkins, David Knowles, Tim Greig, Graham Thomas, Arran Butcher, Adam Hawker, Jamie Fen-Smith, Barry Dukes, Ben & Anthony Worrall, Garry Holtham, Ben Ilsley, Oliver Stanford, Lewis Pugh, Brandon Gutteridge, Chris Symonds, Paul Duffy, Phil Thomas, Mark Collins, Louis Skelding and Russell Little. 350cc Class Has a line up of Andy Melish, Dave Mears, Mark Giles, Mark Taylor, Wayne Broadhurst, Richard Guest, Ryan & Liam Ashcroft, Tommy Crewe, Steve Pearce, Ben Ilsley and Thom Davies.
500cc Sidecars Class We have the 2ndRound of the 500 sidecar Super Series with all the top crews Josh Goodwin / Liam Brown, Mitch Godden / Paul Smith, Shaun Harvey Danny Hogg, Simon Beard / Ant Goodwin, Stinus Lund / Dennis Smit, Barrie Bennett / Eifion Hughes, Scott Dunn / Scott Gutteridge, Natasha Bartlett / Clara Southgate, Dan Derwick / Mark Hopkins, James Hogg / Scott Goodwin, Shaun Hughes / Louis Bennett and Aaron Vale / Steven Vale.
