Stevenston & DMC host ACU Luscombe Mitsubishi Leeds British Youth Class A & B Double Header

Wednesday September 24, 2014 at 12:25pm
The Steventson club hosts the double header cliff hanger weekend of youth trials action at Totherick Quarry, near Dunlop on Saturday and Sunday where Class A and B contenders will sample Scottish hospitality on the north east Ayrshire coast.

Dan Peace leads the Class A charge on eighty championship points, sixty eight ahead of Porlock’s Tom Hooper while Tom Minta has a full twenty championship to win to close on Peace. Two days, a drop score to consider and then the unforgiving Bracken Rocks as a finale. Peace lost Class A by one championship point last year to Jack Price.

In Class B Sam Yeomans is level with Cornish ace Toby Martyn. Some trip for the Truro boy but he can do it and still ride well. Jack Peace is hovering in third place on sixty four points. Sam Johnson may ride well but he is suffering elbow problems and that could negate is efforts.

Start time each day is 10.30 am.
