ACU Luscombe Saab Leeds British Sidecar Championship heads to the Mel Harrison Trial

The Luscombe Saab Leeds ACU Mel Harrison British Sidecar Championship will take place over a shortened three section group course north of Pateley Bridge on Sunday September 14. The start venue maybe either Pateley Bridge Auction Mart or Kingstone Farm, Fellbeck.  The owners of Kingstone Farm will return from holidays on Thursday by which time a suitable parc ferme will be established, depending on land availability. The sections will be at Kingstone Farm, Brimham Rocks and a new section group in the locality.

 

Competitors will be informed no later than Friday. The entries for sidecars and solos will be kept open up to the starting time of 10.30 am. The Yeadon-Guiseley Motor Club will require observers for the sections. The sections Watergate, Cockhill Mines and the Upper Nidderdale sections will not be utilised this year.

 

Currently over twenty sidecar crews have entered. The Club will also take late entries from solo competitors. Confirmed entries are already in from series sponsor Robin and Sam Luscombe
