Round 3 of the Maxxis British Sidecarcross Championships Heads to Landrake this weekend

The third round of the 2014 MAXXIS British sidecarcross championships will take place on Sunday 29 June at the spectacular Landrake Moto Parc hosted by DKS Sports. The circuit which is situated near Plymouth is well suited to sidecar racing and has seen some excellent racing in the past.

Most of the top sidecar crews in the country will be competing and the team to beat on form so far this year are current champions Stuart Brown / Josh Chamberlain. They remain unbeaten after the six races from the first two rounds and lead the championship by thirty two points. In addition to their home form they recently took the overall win at the French GP in Brou so they are on a real high at present and will take some beating.

In second place are the Millard brothers, Daniel and Joe, who are beginning to get to grips with their KTM motor and have had better results recently. Just six points behind the Millards are Brett Wilkinson / Steve Kirwin. Currently in fourth place are Richard Jenkins / Dan Chamberlain but they may not be able to ride as Richard broke his wrist in France recently. Leading the contingent from Ireland are Neil Campbell / Ross Graham who are lying in ninth place at present.

In addition to the three Sidecar Championship races there will be Round Six of the British Evo Series. These classes, Evo 125, Evo 250, Evo 500 and Intermediates, Evo over 50's, Clubman and 4 Stroke and Evo Super Evo with Modern (open). They will have three blocks of racing at 12mins plus 1 lap.

Racing is scheduled to start at 10.30 and the address of the track is: Landrake Moto Parc, New Barton, Landrake, Saltash, Cornwall. PL12 5EP
