International Dirt Bike Show 2012 - November 1 - 4

Three weeks and counting until the doors open for the 13th International Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh Park on November 1st 2012, and the Show organiser reports that the retail hall is now sold out.

Furthermore, the final spaces in halls two and three are filling up quickly, with plenty of new and interesting exhibits to keep off-roaders occupied and entertained, whatever their discipline, and on whichever day they choose to visit.

This year the Show will run a sizeable Twinshock/Evo display in hall three and already has a number of vintage and classic machines confirmed, with some wonderful examples of old trials and motocross bikes, including the US team's Honda and Kawasaki crossers from the Vets MXDN, Stefan Evert's 250 Honda, Georges Jobe's 500 Kawasaki, Yrjo Vesterinen and Steve Saunder's Bultacos together with many more machines from Suzuki, Bultaco, Maico, AJS, Sprite, CCM, Cheney and BSA.

An updated bike list will appear on the Show website nearer to opening day, and event organiser Joanne Watson is still trying to fit them all in; "There is room for more and if anyone has an immaculate motocross or trials machine hidden away and would like to share it with like-minded enthusiasts, they should call us at the Show office on 0844 800 6481. We are very excited about this new area of the Show and would be interested to chat to owners about how their lovingly restored or preserved treasures can take pride of place within the Show halls at Stoneleigh Park this November."

Over the weekend only, the Twinshock/Evo display area will lead, via a tunnel, into the hall five 'Evoshock' Moto Jumble, which is situated next to the Activity Zone. This was a new feature introduced for the first time last year, and it will be open from 10.30am to 5.00pm on Saturday 3rd, and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday 4th November 2012. This weather-beating section is fully enclosed and covered, and is primarily for selling second-hand parts and spares, but equally, tools, accessories, jumble, old books and even machines are welcome. The only rule is that goods sold must not be of modern-day manufacture. The two-day space-only pitches are modestly priced at just £50 for a 6x3m pitch and anyone wishing to book space should call 0844 800 6481, or email joanne@dirtbikeshow.co.uk

Finally, remember the first of November - it's half price entry for all adults for tickets bought in advance or on-the-door.

Tickets are on sale now and can be obtained by calling 0844 581 0735, or via the box office link on www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk
