This weekend the annual British Youth Team Event will be taking place at Mallory Park, with 8 teams all battling for the title. Last year’s winners Team CJSC will be returning to defend their crown at this hotly contested event.
The event this weekend will run across both Saturday and Sunday with 8 teams from across the country all coming together. Each team is made up of 25 riders with 5 riders in each of the classes. The classes consist of 65cc, 85cc SW, 85cc BW, Youth and Adult, with each class racing 6 times during the weekend. This year’s event will also feature a separate Auto Class, with 7 teams competing for the Auto Team title. The team with the lowest score over the weekend will be crowded the Team Champions.
Last year’s Champions CJSC are back to defend the title against Team Cumbria, the MCUI represent the Irish, Kensworth SMXC, Norfolk & Suffolk Jnr MXC, Salop MCC, North East MX Club and a BSMA Team.
The action starts at 9:30am on Saturday morning with the Practice session for each of the classes, followed straight after by the first races of the weekend.
