Track Racing returns to the BMF Shows on the 15th September - Limited Number of Discounted Tickets

The British Motorcycle Federation and Auto Cycle Union have once again joined forces with The Mid Cornwall Premier Motorcycle Club to host the next two rounds of the 2012 ACU British Track Racing Championship at the East of England Showground at Peterborough. With reigning Champions Mark Cossar and Carl Blyth will be looking to continue from their winning start at the opening rounds and will be facing plenty of pressure from Matt Tyrrell and Mark Courtney and many others.

At the opening two rounds of the Championship Mark Cossar and Carl Blyth took two straight victories and hold a 4 points lead in the Championship. Second place in the Championship is currently held by Matt Tyrell and Mark Courtney after they finished second and fourth over the opening weekend. Currently in third place in the Championship are Richie Moore and Rob Winspear just a single point behind Matt Tyrell.

Besides the opportunity to watch some first class track racing, all ACU members benefit from a special ticket deal negotiated with show organisers The Mulberry Group and this means they have access to all of the ancillary daytime activities at the May show and the Tailend show including the world famous White Helmets display, the BMF’s own Moped Enduro racing (affectionately known as the Moped Mayhem!) and of course the hundreds of trade and club stands who will also be on site.

At the Tailend show there will also be the staging of a new European Stunt Show championship with 34 of the top riders in Europe competing and the event will be covered by Motors T.V.

For those who prefer to camp and make a weekend of it the offer is even better...
Campers can gain access to the site from 14.00 on Friday 14th September and enjoy live bands on both Friday and Saturday evenings.

Another new innovation for 2012 includes a Blues, Booze & Bikers area which as the name would suggests offers Blues music together with 20 real ales and 4 real ciders to choose from and this is in addition to the main hall entertainment with great headline cover bands including Limehouse Lizzy, the ZZ Tops and Dr & The Medics to name but a few, so plenty of choice for every taste!

Mulberry’s Managing Director Martin Chick, told us “Since we started working with the BMF in 2010, we’ve tried to understand what makes a great show and what show attendees want and the overwhelming feed-back we’ve received indicates that people want motorcycles, motorcycle related products, daytime entertainment, (preferably motorcycle related), good music and reasonably priced food and drink – cheap entry tickets and oh yes, good weather also helps!”

The SPECIAL ACU ticket offer is:

BMF Tailend Show:
Day tickets - £9 reduced from £14 (valid for either Saturday or Sunday)
Weekend camping ticket - £26.00 reduced from £33.00 (entry from 14.00 on Friday)
