National Travers Trophy Trial, Sept 30/2012

The annual Travers Trophy Trial has had a date change and will now clash head to head with the Peak Trial in North Derbyshire on September 30 with an entry closing date of September 24.

The old established event is again centred on St John's Chapel in Weardale where Harry Norman and his Newcastle & District Motor Club officials will be based to control a very traditional forty section thirty five mile non-championship trial. Due to date changes the S3 Parts status has been removed. The trial will have dual routed and modified sections to provide expert and clubman sections.

William Maxwell is the Clerk of Course for this most northerly of British national trials. Harry Norman stresses early entries will take late numbers. The start time will be 10.01 with a one minute interval between each rider. The Club plan to print out results at the trial headquarters immediately after the last rider completes the course.
